Becoming Your Own Muse
Using mind-body connection to unlock your creativity and get into the flow
Becoming Your Own Muse is a 14 day program to unlock your creativity. Overthinking and worry can keep us stuck. Using mind-body techniques such as yoga, journaling, meditation, and watercolor painting, we will leave overthinking and disappointment behind and shift focus to feeling, joy and play. We'll get out of our thinking minds and just be in the moment, which will create deeper connection to the self.
*Yoga Teachers: This course qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed. Credits.

This 2 week course is as short and sweet as you need it or as long and relaxing as you want it. The yoga poses, meditation, journaling and watercolor was a hit for me. It gave me exactly what I needed to tap into myself and the earth around me. Your Instructor
Katie Meuse (RYT 500, E-RYT 200, YACEP) has practiced yoga since 1997. She was trained at Satsang Yoga Center in Garrison, NY in 2004, and received her prenatal certification in 2005. Her most recent studies have been in guided meditation with a certification in meditation for teens, as well as certification in yin, vinyasa, yoga nidra, restorative, and trauma-informed yoga. She enjoys teaching all levels of students from beginner to advanced and pregnant moms to seniors. Classes emphasize breath, alignment, vinyasa, meditation, and a cultivation of self-nurturing. Katie believes strongly that yoga brings us closer to our true self.
In addition to her Yoga and Reiki certifications, she holds a Bachelor's in Fine Art Painting & Printmaking and a Master's in Health Promotion. Katie has spent previous years as an art teacher, and education curator. She travels around the country as a military spouse and is mom to an amazing boy.
